The Trump admin is revoking temporary, low-skilled worker visas from Haitians. The temporary work permits are usually used for seasonal work like farm jobs. This comes about a week after President Trump reportedly used a derogatory term to ask why the US accepts people from countries like Haiti during an immigration meeting. The administration suggests that Haitians have a high rate of overstaying these visas. Workers from Belize and Samoa are also being banned.
