President Trump denies making derogatory remarks during a bipartisan meeting with senators on Thursday. According to sources present at the meeting, the president referred to Haiti, El Salvador, and African nations as “—-hole countries”,  asking why we would want people from these countries coming to America and noting that we should instead try to attract people from Norway and similar countries. In a statement, the White House did not dispute the remarks, saying Trump “will always fight for the American people.” Trump himself tweeted a denial that “this was not the language used.”
