We're rejoicing that on Friday, July 23, 2010, Darwin Hobbs was released from St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, where he had been hospitalized for over a week and treated for blood clots in his lungs and legs.

Check out photos from Darwin Hobbs’ album release party for his new project “Champion,” at the Georgian Terrace Hotel on Peachtree Street, one of Atlanta’s oldest and most elegant hotels. The Georgian is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Hobbs was rushed to an Atlanta hospital for treatment of two large clots in his lungs. He is still undergoing treatment.
