Support RMHC of NC and each of North Carolina’s Ronald McDonald Houses on September 9 by donating your spare change at any local McDonald’s – 100 percent of donations collected that day will go directly back to your community.
On average, it takes only $5.00 a day for a family to call one of the North Carolina Ronald McDonald Houses home while their child is in the hospital. Encourage your co-workers to join in and donate a dollar during your lunch hour on September 9 and consider the number of families that you can help with just spare change.
The nickels, dimes and quarters dropped into RMHC Donation Boxes at McDonald’s restaurants last year added up to more than $19 million.
Because of the money raised in 2009, Ronald McDonald House Charities was able to keep four million sick children and their families together in communities across the country….and sick children cope better and heal faster when surrounded by their family.
To help children in your own community, drop your small change into an RMHC Donation Box at participating McDonald’s on September 9 and make a BIG difference. (Look for them at the counter or drive-thru.)
