A McDonald’s employee reportedly led authorities to Steve Stephens, the 37-year-old man who fatally shot 74 yr old Robert Godwin in Cleveland on Sunday. Henry Sayer, manager of an Erie, PA McDonalds told The New York Times  that Mr. Stephens bought a 20-piece order of Chicken McNuggets and a large order of French fries at the drive-through but drove off after workers delayed his fries as they contacted authorities. One of the workers recognized him as the subject of what had become a nationwide search, though investigators had picked up a signal from Stephens’ cellphone near Erie on Sunday. A $50,000 reward had been posted. No report yet as to whether the McDonald’s employee will receive it or not.
