According to the Bahamas Tribune, Bahamas Faith Ministries Leader, Dr. Myles Munroe and his wife Ruth have been killed in a plane crash in Grand Bahama.  The plane crash happened Sunday afternoon (November 9, 2014) and killed Dr. Munroe, his wife and seven others on board a private jet.  Sources say that the 36 Executive Jet hit a crane at the Grand Bahama Ship Yard, resulting into it exploding on impact and crashing.

The private jet departed from the Lynden Pindling International Airport at 4:07p.m.and crashed while approaching to land at the Grand Bahama International Airport at 5:10p.m.

During a Press state, Prime Minister Perry Christie said, “It is utterly impossible to measure the magnitude of Dr. Munroe’s loss to The Bahamas and to the world. He was indisputably one of the most globally recognizable religious figures our nation has ever produced. His fame as an ambassador for the Christian ministry preceded him wherever in the world he travelled.”

In a short statement issued by the Global Leadership Conference where Dr. Munroe was in route to before the crash, officials stated, “On behalf of Myles Munroe International and ITWLA. We would like to inform you that the Global Leadership Forum will continue. The Forum will be for two and a half days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning). This is what Dr. Munroe would have wanted. Please keep his family and the ministry in prayers.”
