BREAKING: Attorney General Eric Holder to Resign

Attorney General Eric Holder Jr. is expected to announce his resignation later today. Holder, the first African American attorney general, reportedly will wait to leave once his successor is confirmed. He is the fourth-longest serving attorney general in history, as well as one of the longest serving members of President Obama’s cabinet. Solicitor General Don Verrilli is expected to take his position.
