J. Moss is part of a very talented family of gospel musicians, including his father, Bill (of Bill Moss & the Celestials), and his cousin, part of the group the Clark Sisters. After several years of trying to break into the industry, Moss got his big break in 2004 with the assistance of his cousin, Karen Clark Sheard.

“We Must Praise” is one of the songs featured on his 2004 debut album “The J Moss Project.”
