Gabby Douglas headlined Kids Health Goes Gold event at the Foundation For the Carolinas during the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte. Kids’ Health Goes Gold is a new national initiative to promote children’s health and wellness by Charlotte-based Edge Health. Other gymnast included Aly Raisman and Jordyn Wieber. U.S. Swimming team participants included Rebecca Soni and Dana Vollmer. U.S. Soccer participants included Lauren Cheney and Abby Wambach.
