The notion that Domestic Violence increases on the day of the big game is the subject of much debate. A host of studies suggest that no such connection exists. However, advocates against Domestic Violence say that abuse is a serious problem every day of the year.

Khadija Wali-Uhud, CEO of JAZZuNDAGROUND, LLC  and Mother Khadija’s Domestic Violence for You Foundation, talked with ‘COMMUNITY VOICES’ host, Ron Holland, to discuss the issue. Mrs. Uhud was joined by Juanetta Covington, a Case Worker and Social Media liasion for the Crisis Assistance Ministry. Both women debunked myths associated with Domestic Violence. They urged listeners to get more involved in solving this crisis.
