Carolina Panthers fans will get to see their No. 1 draft pick in action on Saturday during the annual Fan Fest at Bank of America Stadium. The players will participate in limited team practice without full contact. There will also be some one-one drills.

Team practice begins at 4 p.m. and each fan attending will receive a 2011 team roster photo card with a Panthers schedule for the upcoming season.

Admission is free.

The festivities start at 7:30 a.m. with the Blue Points 5K Road Race starting from the East Gate of the stadium. The CatWalk area will open at 2 p.m. with interactive games, face painting, and visits by the TopCats and Sir Purr, who will also perform on the field before practice with the PurrCussion Drum Line.

Gates will open at 2:30 p.m. There will be a passing (ages 15 and under) and a kicking contest (16 years of age and older) for fans on the field. Following the contests, entertainment will be provided on the video screens. Practice begins at 4 p.m. with stretching and will include individual drills, seven on seven, special teams, as well as limited team periods without full contact.

Umbrellas are not permitted in the stadium.
